The 2017 results of the American Heart Association Workplace Health Achievement Index were announced, with OceanView achieving Bronze Level recognition for taking significant steps to build a culture of health in the workplace.
The American Heart Association created the Index with its CEO Roundtable members, a leadership collaborative of more than 30 CEOs from some of America’s largest companies who are committed to improving their employees’ overall health. More than 800 companies completed the assessment this year.
OceanView’s Fitness Manager, Kate Foley, says “Every day the Fitness Team works on the health and fitness of our residents. We’ve realized that incorporating programming for the staff, boosts morale and creates a fun environment for the whole community. Our residents recognize and appreciate this, and are often curious about the programming we have in store for the employees!”
