Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Mikado
A sparkling satire packed with wit, melody, and mischief—Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Mikado remains one of the most beloved works of comic opera. With its topsy-turvy humor, memorable tunes, and delightfully absurd characters, this production captures the timeless charm that has kept audiences laughing (and humming) for more than a century.
From the hilarious antics of Ko-Ko, the Lord High Executioner, to the swooning romance of Nanki-Poo and Yum-Yum, The Mikado offers a joyful escape into a world where nothing is quite as it seems and laughter is guaranteed.
