Blueberry Commons… Views From Hi-Lift
On Wednesday, Aug. 29th, OceanView owner John Wasileski hired a hi-lift (cherrypicker) to come to our campus to allow the development staff for Blueberry Commons to see, first-hand, the potential views from the new buildings.
Groups of 6 to 10 were lifted 4 stories high in several locations to get a sense of the views from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of Blueberry Commons, our new luxury apartments, now being reserved for late 2013/early 2014 occupancy.
Rick Licht, Site Engineer, provided maps, compass points and landmark maps to orient those who went up in the hi-lift. The views, especially from the 4th floor, were spectacular! Looking out over the roof of the Main Lodge, all of Portland, Casco Bay, the lighthouses and islands were visible in a panoramic, sweeping vista. It was a beautiful day, and well-worth the jitters about the heights for everyone.
