We are very excited to announce the completion of our 4,000 square-foot state-of-the art fitness facility, proudly named after Myron and Gladys Hager, who were the first residents to move into our community when it was founded in 1986! Becoming friends and confidantes of OceanView owner John Wasileski for over thirty years, they encouraged and advocated for meaningful fitness programing for residents.
Due to increasing demand among residents recognizing the value and importance of staying physically fit, OceanView fitness staff and management were led, to not only expand the capacity needed, but to also incorporate equipment and programming that broke current perceptions of what exercise for seniors can be.
Cutting-edge equipment, normally found in collegiate gyms, includes a push sled with turf strip, as seen on football fields; a weight rack for squatting, deadlifting, bench and shoulder pressing; weight stacks and pulley machines, TRX suspension trainers, a bounce wall and floor, treadmills, recumbent bikes, ellipticals, rowers, and spin cycles!

Our team of Certified Personal Trainers look forward to delivering more than 40 exercise classes weekly, using the latest science-based research, as we continue to be the top destination for individuals seeking to maintain their healthy, active lifestyle into retirement!
