The Groundbreaking ceremony for Legacy Memory Care at OceanView was held on Wednesday, September 18th with over 40 in attendance including bankers, architects, engineers, OceanView staff and residents, and Senator Angus King’s senior aid, Gail Kezer.
This is a five-million dollar construction project at OceanView at Falmouth, all designed, financed and built by Maine companies – local banks, local contractors, local vendors, and a local development and management company, providing an exciting economic boost to the Maine economy.
Legacy Memory Care is the second phase of the Falmouth School Redevelopment Project, with the recently launched and partially completed Blueberry Commons Independent Living Apartments, (36 new apartments, a twelve-million dollar addition) being the first phase of this overall 20-acre expansion to the OceanView campus.
These additions enhance the overall care continuum and variety of independent retirement options offered by OceanView at Falmouth, now in its 27th year of successful and well-respected operation.
