Fitness Pavilion Construction Progress
Work on our new, state-of-the-art Fitness Pavilion is coming along well. After having the concrete foundation poured for the underground parking garage, steel beams are being placed, giving shape to this exciting undertaking!
OceanView Exceeds Alzheimer’s Walk Fundraising Goal
Legacy Memory Care at OceanView held its Annual Alzheimer’s Walk right here on our beautiful 80-acre campus with its variety of wooded walking paths and trails.

OceanView Fitness Pavilion Groundbreaking
In his speech, OceanView’s owner, John Wasileski, said the design and technology going into the construction of this state-of-the-art facility will make it a wonderful new addition to the campus, but it ultimately will be the residents and the staff who use it that will make it special. “It’s always been the people of the OceanView community that make it what it is, not the bricks and mortar,” John reiterated. John’s son and OceanView’s Director of Development, Chris Wasileski, echoed his father’s words in recognizing the many people who have and will continue to be involved in the development of the building.

OceanView Epitomizes Solar-Powered Retirement Living

OceanView at Falmouth harnesses New England’s abundant solar resource to attract new residents, to reduce energy costs and carbon pollution, and to provide year-round comfort in their facilities. Since 2009, they have saved more than $170,000, and eliminated over 1.4 million pounds of carbon pollution by incorporating solar into the retirement community.
Falmouth House Expansion Progress Continues
Excellent construction progress continues to be made on our Falmouth House Expansion. Both the North and South wing interiors have been sheet rocked with painting to begin soon. Work will then move on to the interior of the new “turret,” where the expanded activity spaces will be!

OceanView Yard Sale Raises $20,000!
If you’ve ever been to our Annual Yard Sale, you know it offers an impressive selection of items. This year’s Sale was no exception, including just about everything except a kitchen sink! There was also an assortment of resident-made baked goods and a variety of plants for purchase. A special preview event was held once again the Friday evening before the Saturday Sale, and with a $10 donation for admission, attendees received an OceanView tote bag, enjoyed elegant hors d’oeuvres, and got “first dibs” on sale items! Residents Prepare for Annual Yard Sale
The OceanView Annual Yard Sale is only a few weeks away, and has our resident volunteers buzzing like bees in preparation for this very popular spring event!
As a community that cares deeply about its members, the residents of OceanView created The Resident Assistance Fund to help their fellow neighbors in need. With individual gifts and a variety of fundraising activities like the yard sale, this registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization continues to help residents on our campus. The events held also serve as an additional opportunity to bring residents together and foster community spirit.
The yard sale gives residents an excellent opportunity to donate items they may no longer need. There is always an impressive assortment of jewelry, glass, china, antiques, furniture, art, frames, linens, toys, sports equipment, household items and more, with 100% of the profits going directly to the Fund. There will also be plants and fresh baked-goods for sale!

Falmouth House Expansion Update
Excellent progress continues on the expansion of our Falmouth House Assisted Living residence. The buildings are really taking shape! JBW Construction and Benchmark Construction have been working hard on closing in both the North and South wings, with roof sheathing being installed. Read more
